The Smithsonian’s unique exhibits are much more than fish tanks: they are model ecosystems! Come view the thriving underwater worlds of the Indian River Lagoon and Atlantic Ocean, visit the touch tank, and enjoy hands-on interactive activities!

The Aquarium is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-4pm and Sunday 12pm-4pm. For seasonal hours information and holiday closures, please click here.

Please note: The Aquarium will be closed on Tuesday April 26 and Wednesday April 27 for renovations and exhibit upgrades.


Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children and seniors. Children ages 3 and under are free. Enjoy free admission the first Tuesday each month!
